Southport Developmental Football offers multiple programs that train and develop young student-athletes. We are committed to offering a high quality experience and a fun atmosphere! Southport High School Varsity Coaching Staff will be involved with SDF and assist our multiple football programs. Southport Developmental Football will be a complete experience for your youngster to have fun with friends, learn fundamentals, and love football!

Tackle Football - Southport Developmental Football is offering tackle football as a part of the Junior Cardinals that will play in the Central Indiana Bantam Football League. The Junior Cardinals will be represented by the student-athletes of elementary schools and the 6th grade academy that feed into Southport High School.* The Junior Cardinals will have teams within each division of CIBFL - 1st/2nd Grade, 3rd/4th Grade, & 5th/6th Grade. Depending on registration numbers, we may field multiple teams in each division.
*Home School and Out-Of-District players may also register for our Tackle Football Program.

Youth Cheer - Southport Developmental Football is offering youth cheer as part of the Junior Cardinals that will support the football teams that compete in the Central Indiana Bantam Football League. The Junior Cardinals Youth Cheerleaders will be represented by the student-athletes of elementary schools and the 6th grade academy that feed into Southport High School. The Junior Cardinals will have teams (cheer squads) within each division of CIBFL - 1st/2nd Grade, 3rd/4th Grade, & 5th/6th Grade.

NFL Flag Football - NFL Flag Football has been hosted at Southport Stadium the past 4 years. NFL Flag provides opportunity to any player that would like to play in a non-contact league and develop the fundamentals of football. Southport Developmental Football has partnered with NFL Flag to continue this league offered at Southport Stadium, now known as Southport NFL Flag League. We will now offer an end of season tournament and have a more structured league with more community focus!
